Welcome
Welcome to the Probus Club of Yeovil where at this time we are actively seeking to widen our membership. We are a friendly group of retired, or semi-retired, men who meet regularly to promote fellowship.
Introduction
The Probus Club of Yeovil was founded in 1986 as part of the national network of Probus clubs; https//www.probusonline.org
We are a local association of retired and semi-retired professional and business men and others who have had some measure of responsibility in any field of worthy endeavour, and are of character and respected in their communities. Clubs meet regularly for fellowship and an extension of their interests.
The Club meets for convivial luncheons each month, at the Quicksilver Mail pub on Hendford Hill, Yeovil BA20 2RG normally on the second Monday, when we conclude with a guest speaker. We also have an annual dinner, a summer lunch and arrange theatre visits, regular skittles matches, short walks (concluding with a pub lunch) and visits to local places of interest. Wives or partners are most welcome to all of these.
New members are welcomed and we are happy to hear from anyone who would like to consider joining us. All potential new members are invited to a complimentary luncheon so that they can learn more about the Club and meet the members. Please cantact the chairman, David Parsons on 01935 414765
